Jumeirah Beach Park
By far the most popular public beach. A large beach with life guards. Behind the beach is a shaded grass area with barbeque facilities but charges to enter.

Kite Beach
A long beach that is OK for sun bathing but does have a lot of kite surfers and has no charge.
Behind Wollongong University campus.
Umm Suqeim Beach
A white sandy beach with good views of the Burj and free to enter.
